Heavy Lift Cranes and Module Transport on SPMT
At the Nyrstar facility in Port Pirie, South Australia (3 hours to the North of Adelaide), Lampson supplied the Heavy Lift Cranes, SPMT and the operational crew throughout the Transformation Project 2016-17. The largest crane supplied was the Lampson built LTL-2600; a dual crawler lattice boom mobile crane. The LTL-2600 was configured with 134 metres of boom, 2300 tonne of counterweight, 24 metre stinger on 1800 and 2000 tonne Crawler Transporters. The other project equipment that Lampson supplied included a Manitowoc 2250 Max-er, Manitowoc 999, Manitowoc 777, Grove RT-9130, 144 axles of Goldhofer SPMT, block out stools along with Steel Foundation Mats and vast amount of Rigging Equipment.
